A. PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER
B. SCREWS
C. M8 SCREWS
D. TENON POLE ADAPTOR
E. FIXTURE RODS
F. 7/32 ALLEN KEY
The rods for the fixture should be oriented so that the side with the curve at the tip is facing upwards and the rod “bend” faces inwards, towards the centre of the fixture.
Inspect the three rods. One has a bigger hole than the other two. This rod will be used for running the wire through to the pole.
Using a screwdriver, remove the fixed screw on the bottom-side of the rod.
With the fixed screw removed, slide the end block out of the rod.
Starting from the top side of the rod, insert and run the wires through. Once the length of the wire is pulled through and emerges from the bottom side of the rod, insert the top side of the rod into the fixture. Ensure the rod “bend” faces inwards, towards the centre of the fixture.
With the top of the rod inserted in the fixture and the entire length of the wire pulled through, thread the end block through the wire and back into the bottom side of the rod. Secure the end block with the fixed screw removed in Step 3.
On the top side of the fixture, insert the screw to secure the rod. Repeat for the second screw. Do not fully tighten these screws.
From the top side of the tenon pole adaptor, identify the hole that will receive the rod with the wire run-through (it will have two smaller screw holes on each side). Run the wire through the top side of the tenon pole adaptor.
Continue pulling the wire through the tenon pole adaptor and then insert the run-through rod into the adaptor. Using the screw, secure the adaptor to the rod. Repeat for the second screw and tighten.
Insert the other two rods (without wire run-through) into the fixture, then into the tenon pole adaptor.
With all rods inserted into the tenon pole adaptor, use M8 screws to fasten the bottom side of the other two rods into the tenon pole adaptor. Use a 7/32 Allen key to tighten.
From the top side of the fixture, use M8 screws to fasten the top side of the other two rods into the fixture. Use a 7/32 Allen key to tighten.
On the top side of the fixture, tighten the screws that are holding the run-through rod to the fixture (from Step 7).
The fixture assembly is now complete and ready to install.
